How People Are Fast Losing Weight

Why is it that some people struggle with diet after diet, week after week, month after month, never getting any results—while others get on a program and are soon fast losing weight? Maybe it’s because a diet doesn’t address the core issues that caused the weight gain in the first place.

The people that are successful and are fast losing weight realize that diet alone will not be enough to carry them to their goals. They know that you must integrate exercise into the equation; exercise not only of the body, but of the mind.

Physical Exercise to Fast Losing Weight

It really doesn’t matter what diet you try, if you don’t get some form of exercise to go along with it, your diet will take forever for you to see results….if you see results at all. This can cause you to get discouraged and give up, again. People really want to see results quickly, like those that are fast losing weight.

If you are really overweight, you do not want to overdo it, as it is tempting to do. You want to ease your way into an exercise program to avoid injury. The best way for you to start is just to walk. Start out with a 15 minute walk, twice a day, for a week. Then increase to 30 minutes, then 45. Start out slow at first, but increase the intensity of your walking as you gain stamina. And you WILL gain stamina if you stick with it. And, along with your diet, you will soon be fast losing weight!!

Cardio exercise is a great addition to diet to get the extra pounds off fast. It’s not necessary to do aerobics for two hours a day to see results, either. Consistency is the key….many cardio exercise programs work in as little as 10-20 minutes a day, 3-5 days per week. But you must stick with it!!

Strength training is another tool of some people who are fast losing weight. Just using resistance bands or dumbbells while you watch TV or listen to the radio will help you build and tone muscles, which will help boost your metabolism, and soon you’ll be on YOUR way to fast losing weight!!

Mental Exercise to Fast Losing Weight

Depression is one of the biggest contributors to weight gain. People that are depressed are far more sluggish, exercise less frequently (if at all), and often seek refuge in high-calorie, high-carb comfort foods, such as cookies and ice cream. All of these behaviors have a negative impact on our bodies, especially concerning added pounds and fat. Eliminating depression through the use of therapy, supplements, hypnosis, or stress-relieving exercise is imperative before, or during your diet program in order for you to succeed.

Also, sleep deprivation can cause depression and weight gain. When you don’t get proper sleep, your body craves high-sugar, high-carb foods for energy, which in turn causes weight gain, and depression. People who are fast losing weight are getting a full nights rest, where their bodies are rejuventing during delta sleep patterns, and their minds are much clearer and focused during the day. If you’re experiencing insomnia, you may ask your doctor if Melatonin supplements may be good for you. It is inexpensive, and has helped many people improve their ability to go to sleep.

On the other side of the coin, a positive mental attititude will get you over the hump every time. Writing down your goals, or using a picture to visualize, is a good way to condition your brain to keep you focused on task. Put your picture or goals in a place where you can see them every day,  take comfort in the fact that you are taking action, and soon you too will be fast losing weight!!!

It doesn’t matter how great the diet you are trying is, it will not succeed unless to add the appropriate mix of exercise, physical and mental, to make it work. A diet alone is just a diet.
