Appearance–Double Chin Fat
If you have a naturally round face, you might be prone to storing extra fat beneath your chin, causing what is called a double chin. Being overweight can aggravate this, causing multiple chins. There is no instant cure, but you can reduce double chin fat by reducing overall body fat and exercising the target area. And you can do it without working yourself to death or missing your favorite foods.
Foods that Reduce Fat
Good carbs can help promote weight loss; bad carbs make you gain weight. Bad carbs are typically defined as any food that gets most of its calories from refined sugar or refined white flour. Low carb diets have been shown to cause depression, among other things. So the key is not to eliminate carbs altogether, it’s to consume the right kind of carbs–Fruits, veggies, and whole grains. This will help keep up your energy and have a positive outlook.
Studies have shown that people who consumed 3 servings of dairy each day lost more weight than those who didn’t consume any dairy products at all. Low-fat dairy products are excellent fat fighters.
Nuts, olives, olive oil, and salmon contain unsaturated fats that are good for speeding up your metabolism. They also keep you feeling full longer, which keeps you from overeating due to hunger.
Finally, green tea is a known fat-burner. It revs up the metabolism, making your body get rid of its fat stores faster. Sip a cup or two in the morning instead of coffee.
Exercising Reduces Fat
As you know, cardio exercise burns calories, which will help you reduce double chin fat – as well as everywhere else. 3-5 hours of cardio exercise each week will promote weight loss and keep you feeling great. It really doesn’t matter which cardio activities you choose. Just pick a few that you can enjoy and stick with and do those several times per week. For extra help, see:

Strength training is what you need to build muscle, and building muscle speeds up the metabolism. Either you can lift weights 3-5 times per week, or you can try yoga or isometrics. For help here, check out:

Facial Toning Exercises
Here are a few facial toning exercises. Most people do them at bedtime or upon rising, but the key here is consistency. Just make sure that you do them regularly.
1) Stick out your lower lip. Then scoop it up and over your top lip, like you’re trying to touch your nose. Hold for 10 seconds, and release. Do 30 to 40 of these each day. (The process looks rather amusing, so you might want to do it when nobody is watching!)
2) Sit upright, then tilt your head back as far as you can manage, now open and close your mouth several times feeling the muscle stretch each time. Start with ten.
3) Stand comfortable with your head at a natural angle. Pull your chin upwards so you feel your muscles stretch. Count to ten and relax. Build to ten.
4) Stand comfortably. Slowly raise your head from your chest and tilt it back as far as possible. Do not strain. Close your mouth tightly so that your feel the neck muscles stretch. Count to ten and relax, bring your head back to normal. Ten at a time, twice a day.
Bloating
Bloating can be caused by dehydration and sleeping flat. Make sure that you are drinking plenty of pure water every day. You may also consider sleeping on an adjustable bed, elevating your head and upper body at night to help aleviate bloating in the facial area. Make the double chin less obvious by avoiding bloating.
